Our Story

Heal Our Land Global was founded as a dedicated Christian missions organisation in November 2020.
At first based in the United Kingdom, it encompassed short-term missions in France, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

In 2019 following a dream where a young girl was being persecuted for a Faith in Jesus, our founder Joanna Néhémie Mafwata began interceding for the Unreached People Groups and nations around the globe. Soon she was joined by a team of burdened evangelists who would pray on a weekly basis for the Unreached People Groups and nations.

Encouraged by one of her friends, she sat to write down the vision the Lord had placed in her and soon Heal Our Land Global (previously Heal Our Land Ministries) was birthed in November 2020.

“ Those who sow in tears, shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him."

The Democratic Republic of Congo

The Heart of  Gold

The Democratic Republic of Congo is a land of breathtaking beauty, where lush landscapes meet vibrant cultures. From the majestic peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains to the serene banks of the Congo River, the natural splendour of this nation tells a story of resilience and hope. Yet, amidst the enchanting scenery, the people of Congo face significant challenges. By engaging in charitable efforts, we have the opportunity to touch lives and illuminate paths towards a brighter future.

Our heart for charity work in the Democratic Republic of Congo stems from a deep understanding of the potential that lies within this nation. Through education and community development initiatives, we aim to empower the local population and foster sustainable growth. Each small act of kindness can ripple outward, sparking change and providing the hope necessary to transform communities and uplift spirits.

As we embark on our charitable journey in the DRC, we are filled with the belief that together, we can cultivate a flourishing environment where beauty and hope thrive hand in hand. By supporting local artisans, providing essential resources, and raising awareness of the incredible resilience of the Congolese people, we strive to create a legacy of compassion and empowerment that will echo for generations to come.
